(Missouri Valley) Missouri Valley hosted their cross country meet on Saturday. The Big Red boys defended their home course with a team title while it was AHSTW topping the girls team scoring.
AHSTW’s win came with a total of just 23 points. Julia Kock led the charge in 3rd and Chloe Falkena was 4th. Holly Hoepner ran 6th. Jade Draman placed 8th and Kailey Jones finished 11th. Jordan Blotzer was 30th with Claire Denning at #35.
Logan-Magnolia was 2nd with 34 points. The Panthers had the individual champion Courtney Sporrer.
Area teams Riverside and Griswold each competed, but with not team score. Riverside had Becca Cody in 17th and Cailee Manzer 27th. Maddy Main was 39th for Griswold.
The Missouri Valley boys outdid IKM-Manning 45-47. The Big Reds had three runners in the top ten and five in the top sixteen. Cody Gilpin was the individual runner-up.
IKM-Manning 2nd place finish was led by individual winner Quentin Dreyer.
Riverside placed 4th as a team behind St. Albert with 108 points. Ben Schroder was 7th. Mason McCready ran 13th. Other scoring runners were Eric Duhachek in 26th, Dalton Smith 33rd, and Caleb Stevens 35th.
AHSTW and Griswold each had no team score. AHSTW’s top finisher was Caleb Hatch in 18th. Jeremy Sheeder was 50th for Griswold.
