(Panora) The West Central Activities Conference Cross Country Meet was hosted by Panorama on Thursday. The Madrid boys and Panorama girls won team championships. Individual winners were Madrid’s Jason Renze and Van Meter’s Clare Kelly.
ACGC had a top ten finisher in each race as Rylee Sloss led the girls team in 3rd and Trevin Suhr led the Charger boys in 10th.
Panorama won the girls competition by a comfortable margin with 50 points. Three others were in a close race for second place. Van Meter took runner-up honors with 72, DM Christian was 3rd with 76, and ACGC 4th with 79. There were ten girls teams that comprised a score.
Individually for the ACGC girls Rylee Sloss was 3rd, Jorja Hoover 14th, Kiersten Knobbe 16th, Hayden Coffman 22nd, EmmaKay McClain 24th, Kelsey Carlson 37th, and Alyson Embleton 40th.
The boys title was a three horse race with Madrid scoring 41 to win followed by DM Christian with 47 and Earlham with 51. ACGC’s team total of 109 earned them 4th among 11 scoring schools.
For the ACGC boys Trevin Suhr was 10th, Kaden Thompson 21st, Andrew Mahaffey 25th, Lance Bunde 26th, Justin Reinhart 27th, Bo Arrasmith 33rd, and Miles Kading 38th.
