ATV Accident Claims the Life of a Montgomery County Man

(Red Oak) A rural Red Oak man died in an ATV accident in Montgomery County.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office says the accident happened at around 4:15 a.m. Saturday in a farm field in the 2500 block of C Avenue north of 260^th Street. Authorities say 41-year old Chad M. Harold of rural Red Oak died in the crash.

According to the report, Chad Harold had been driving a 2020 Polaris XP1000 southbound in a farm field and lost control near a terrace and overturned.

Red Oak Fire and Rescue assisted the Montgomery Sheriff’s Office at the scene.
