(Red Oak) A man suffered possible injuries in a car/pedestrian accident in Red Oak.
According to Police, the accident happened at around 1:15 p.m. on Sunday in the 1900 block of North Broadway Street.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found the male victim lying on the street. He’s identified as 58-year old Kenneth Murray Houser, of Red Oak.
According to the report, a 2018 Chevy Equinox, driven by 67-year old Carla Ann Schmid of Red Oak, stopped at Alix Avenue’s stop sign. Schmid started to turn left at the same time Houser started to cross the street. Schmid’s vehicle struck Houser and knocked him down.
Houser was transported to the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital with suspect minor injuries. There was no damage to the Equinox.
