(Atlantic) Tessa Grooms and Craig Alan Becker were crowned Queen and King at the Atlantic High School Homecoming ceremony following the J.V. football game on Monday night.
The Homecoming Queen and King candidates included; Grace Barkley, Alyssa Derby, Tessa Grooms, Caroline Pellett, Jenna Pelzer, Haley Rasmussen, Sydney Sanny, and Anna Wieser. Craig Alan Becker, Keagen Garcia, Gunner Kirchhoff, Steele McLaren, Colin Mullenix, Grant Sturm, Zane Vance, and Joe Weaver.
A reverse parade/homecoming cruise will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Those participating in the parade are encouraged to decorate their vehicles to demonstrate school spirit. The route starts south on Highway 71 and 14th Street.
The awarding of the Spirit Stick will take place at half-time of the football game on Friday night against Red Oak. The dance has been moved to the spring at a date yet to be determined.
