(Sidney) A Fremont County man faces attempted murder charges.
The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office arrested 43-year old Dave Allen Keeton, of Sidney on Saturday for Attempted Murder and willful injury with a weapon.
The Sheriff’s Office received a call of a woman assaulted with a hammer at a residence in the 100 Block of Main Street in Sidney. When Deputies arrived on the scene, they found the victim bleeding from the head. The female whose name was not released told Officers she had been strangled and hit with a hammer. Authorities transported the woman to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Deputies arrested Keeton without incident and transported him to the Fremont County Jail and booked in for Attempted Murder and Willful Injury with a Weapon.
Keeton is in the Fremont County Jail on twenty-five thousand dollars cash bond.
