(Des Moines) The National Weather Service issued a frost advisory for parts of southwest Iowa.
The advisory goes in effect at 1:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. on Friday. Temperatures are expected to fall into the mid to low 30’s mainly north of a line from Creston to Knoxville to Grinnell. This includes Cass, Audubon, Guthrie, Adair, Dallas, Adams, Madison, and Shelby, Pottawattamie, Crawford, and Carroll counties.
The frost could kill sensitive outdoor vegetation if left uncovered.
