(Anita) Running the game ball to the football field during Homecoming week has become a tradition at CAM. That tradition continued Tuesday despite the fact that the Cougars are currently without a Week 6 opponent.
Middle School coach Deb Brown says the 4th Annual Highway Relay Run was expanded this year to include Cumberland. Runners started off at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday from the Cumberland Fire Station.
They headed east on Highway 92 to Massena before trekking north on Highway 148 to Anita. Another addition this year was the inclusion of adult runners from the community to join in on the fun.
CAM was schedule to take on Fremont-Mills in a matchup of ranked and undefeated teams, but the Knights are unable to play.
