(Corning) The Adams County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Red Oak woman for stealing a vehicle from a residence near Prescott.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office received a call at 11:55 a.m. on Saturday of a stolen vehicle from 1311 Orange Avenue. Authorities found the stolen vehicle northwest of the residence with damage to it, and an unresponsive female in the driver’s seat.
The investigation led to the arrest of 30-year old Mildred Douglas. Officers arrested Douglas and transported her to CHI in Corning for an evaluation. Following her release, authorities transported Douglas to the Adams County Jail on a charge of Theft of a Motor Vehicle (a Class D Felony) and Criminal Mischief causing over $1,000 damage (a Class D Felony), and Burglary (an Aggravated Misdemeanor).
