(Council Bluffs) A child died after being struck by a car in Council Bluffs.
According to Council Bluffs Police, officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue for an injury accident on Saturday afternoon. When they arrived, Council Bluffs Fire Department personnel were treating a 2-year old female with life-threatening injuries.
The child was transported to Nebraska Medicine Hospital where she was later pronounced deceased.
The Preliminary investigation indicates female was hit by a vehicle pulling into the driveway.
