(Audubon) The Audubon Wheelers are 5-0. The home team raced out to a 42-0 advantage after the first quarter and led 62-0 at the half.
Gavin Smith completed 3/7 passes for 107 yards and two scores. Braden Wessel’s only pass attempt went for a 69 yard TD. Smith carried six times for 90 yards and 3 scores. Collin Bauer, Joel Klocke, Ethan Klocke, and Carson Bauer all had one rushing touchdown as the Wheelers stormed to 256 rushing yards. After Smith’s 90 yard output, Collin Bauer and Ethan Klocke each had 44 yards, Jay Remsburg 27, Joel Klocke 21, Carson Bauer 16, and Braden Wessel 13.
Braden Wessel, Ethan Klocke, and Garrett Christensen all caught a TD pass. Wessel posted two receptions for 49 yards. Ethan Klocke and Garrett Christensen finished with 58 and 69 receiving yards, respectively.
Gavin Smith and Joel Klocke each had 8 tackles. Wessel and Smith each intercepted one pass with Wessel’s being a pick six. Joey Schramm returned a fumble recovery 12 yards for a score.
