(Leon) Four teenagers suffered injuries in a single-vehicle crash in Decatur County.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened at around 6:21 p.m. on Thursday on Lineville Road and Quest Road southeast of Leon. Authorities identified the four injured in the crash as, 16-year old Gatlynn Miller, of Decatur, 16-year old Jenna D. Young, of Leon, 12-year old Megan E. Young, of Leon, and 15-year old Adam T. Young, of Leon.
According to the accident report, a northbound 2004 Chevy Trailblazer driven by Adam Young, lost control on a curve at Quest Road. The vehicle crossed over the southbound lanes, and the intersection, vaulted into a ditch and rolled into an open field on the west side of the Lineville Road.
Mercy Helicopter transported Gatlynn Miller to Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. Decatur EMS transferred Jenna Young to the Decatur County Hospital; Wayne EMS transported Adam T. Young to the Decatur County Hospital, and Megan Young declined transport.
