(Harlan) The suspects involved in a pursuit in Pottawattamie and Shelby Counties were able to evade law enforcement today.
The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office said they assisted the Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Office with a vehicle pursuit that ended near 400th Street and Quince Road. The suspects were able to evade capture due to the terrain in which they fled.
In a Facebook post at 3:29 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office said the suspects are believed to still be in the area and nearby residents should be extra cautious. Keep houses and vehicles locked as they will be looking for transportation out of the area. If you see a suspicious person do not approach them and call 911 right away.
