Atlantic boys place three in the top six and win team title at Clarinda

(Clarinda) Craig Alan Becker won the meet, Zan Berg ran 4th, and Ethan Williams came in 6th to help the Atlantic boys win the Clarinda Cross Country meet on Tuesday.

The Trojans had all of their scoring runners in the top 20 and scored 42 points for the win. Additional scorers for Atlantic were Drew Engler in 13th and Tyrell Williams in 18th. Others competing in the varsity race for the Trojans were Bennett Whetstone in 26th and Lee Houser in 27th.

Becker’s winning time of 17:09 was :21 ahead of runner-up Tyler Blay, of West Monona. Baylor Bergren, of Red Oak, took third individually in a time of 18:14.
