(Anita) CAM junior Lane Spieker scored in four different ways on Friday night. The Cougars beat Bedford 48-8 behind a passing, rushing, kick return, and punt return score from Spieker.
The quarterback went 5/7 through the air with 60 yards and a TD pass to Colby Rich. He ran 12 times for 109 yards and two TD’s. Spieker added a 78 yard kick return for a touchdown and a 63 yard punt return for a score.
Other bright spots for the Cougars included Cade Ticknor rushing 17 times for 93 yards and two touchdowns along with his five tackles. Joe Kauffman posted 8.5 tackles and recovered two fumbles.
