(Coon Rapids) Coon Rapids-Bayard travels to Exira/EHK this week following a come behind win over Ar-We-Va in week one. The Crusaders came away with a 42-36 victory after trailing by 16-points.
The Crusaders have the challenging task of filling the big shoes left behind by running back Jeffrey Eagle. The now C-R-B alum rushed for 1,894 yards one -year ago, averaged 7.0 yards per carry, and scored 36 touchdowns.
Coach Mohr says they’ve been working on tweaking the offense, cleaning up some mental mistakes, and preparing for the Spartans passing attack.
