(Atlantic) A free community meal will be held Monday, September 21, at the Cass County Community Building in Atlantic.
The Gathering, Kiwanis Club and Knights of Columbus are teaming up to serve grilled cheeseburgers, chips, baked beans, dessert and a drink from 5 to 7 p.m.
Fun and games will begin at 4 p.m., with activities including cornhole, Connect 4, Toss Across and more.
The Knights of Columbus will provide rides for people within the City of Atlantic. Rides must be requested by calling 712-249-7709 by 5 p.m. Sunday, September 20. There will be no out-of-town deliveries.
The event is being held as part of the Volunteer Iowa program.
