(Avoca, IA) — AHSTW will more than likely have a new starter at quarterback in tomorrow’s game at Riverside, coverage on KSOM. Junior Dayton Osbahr got hurt last week in a 48-6 win over Red Oak. Its not a serious injury says Head Coach Davis Pattee and it will not keep him out for a long period of time but he is considered doubtful against the Bulldogs. The biggest candidate to replace him is Freshman Taylen Hansen — Roman Scheffler is a two way starter on the offensive and defensive line and he says they will back him 100 percent
Scheffler has 6 tackles on defense so far and is enjoying the football season
Pattee says that Scheffler is a key leader but in a quiet way for the Vikings
AHSTW will visit Riverside tomorrow night, coverage on KSOM.
Homecoming for AHSTW is next week but their King and Queen will be crowned on Sunday so the Vikes Homecoming Court interviews will be throughout the day tomorrow on KSOM.
