(Atlantic) Atlantic has wrapped up preseason practice, and now it’s time to play football. The Trojans travel to Glenwood Friday night for their first of four non-district games.
Atlantic Head Coach Joe Brummer and his staff have a mix of young players and veterans filling the positions this season.
The Trojans graduated 22 seniors from last year’s team that finished as the Class 3A District 6 runner-up. Despite having several younger players stepping into new roles, Brummer says the expectations remain the same.
The Trojans face a Glenwood team ranked #10 in the Class 4A Radio Iowa preseason rankings.
The game will be broadcast on 95.7 F.M., and live-streamed on westerniowatoday.com TV (KS95) on the video tab. The pregame show starts at 6:00; the Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. Tom Robinson, Perry Fief, and Kevin Ferguson will be on the call.
