(Clarinda) Clarinda defended their home courts against Atlantic in girls’ tennis on Monday with a 7-2 victory. The Cardinals won five of the six singles matches and went two for three in doubles.
The winners for Clarinda were Chandy Nothwehr at N0. #1, Layla Hargis, at N0. #2, and Alexa Barnes at #3, Kylar Downey at #4, and Kylar Downey at N0. #5. Hope Hammontree picked up a win for the Trojans at N0.#6.
The Trojans’ #2 duo of Dylin Ball and Taryn O’Brien picked up a win. Nothwehr and Hesse at #1, and Barnes and Downey at #3, were winners for the Cardinals.
