(Wayne County) Three people suffered injuries in a rollover accident in Wayne County.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened late Saturday night on Highway 65 near the two-mile marker. Authorities identify the victims as 18-year-old Cameron Noah Peterson, of Chariton; 18-year-old Kyzer Von Arnold, of Russell; and 18-year-old Chase Martin Williams, of Chariton.
According to the report, a 2012 Nissan Maxima traveling northbound on Highway 65 left the roadway, entered the east ditch, rolled, ejecting all three passengers. The car came to rest upright. The driver was not identified at the time of this release.
Mercy One Air transported Peterson to Mercy Hospital. Wayne County EMS transported Arnold and Williams to the Wayne County Hospital.
The accident remains under investigation.
