(Boone) Baseball district and substate brackets for the 2026 postseason are now available for Class 2A and 1A.
The first round of postseason games in 1A and 2A are scheduled for Friday, July 3. In 1A and 2A, district finalists will meet in the substate final, matching District 1 with District 2 in Substate 1, District 3 with District 4 in Substate 2, etc.
Class 3A and Class 4A first-round games begin Friday, July 10.
Eight teams from each classification will advance to the 2026 IHSAA State Baseball Tournament, currently scheduled for July 20-24 in Carroll (1A, 2A) and Cedar Rapids (3A, 4A).
First-round sites and game times are listed in brackets.
Complete sites and times for future contests will be determined once each round is complete.
Postseason seeding is guided by a collaboration between the IHSAA and the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association (IHSBCA) rankings committee. The rankings committee assembles weekly rankings for all classes throughout the season. This information is tabulated throughout the season.
