(Atlantic) The Atlantic baseball team evens its record at 4-4 with a 15-1 victory over AHSTW on Wednesday night.
Zander Killion and Paxton Pross combined for a five-inning no-hitter. Killion allowed one unearned run, struck out five, and walked two in four innings of work. Pross struck out two batters and walked two in the fifth inning.
Sawyer Tarrell went 1-2 at the plate with a double, a walk, an HBP, two RBI, and four steals. Hudson McLaren went 1-2 with a double, two RBI, and two walks. Grant Petty 1-2 with a double and one RBI. Jack Muller was 1-2, two RBI, two walks, and one steal.
Atlantic hosts Shenandoah tonight in a Hawkeye Ten Conference baseball game. The Mustangs enter the contest with a 5-3 record. Shenandoah carries a four-game winning streak heading into tonight’s matchup.
