James “Jim” Comes, age 78, of Atlantic, Iowa, passed away peacefully at his home Saturday, May 16, 2026, surrounded by his wife and children.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Comes, sons, Chad Comes of Atlantic, Drew Comes and wife Kim of Atlantic, and Daniel Comes and wife Jenna of Mapleton; daughter Elizabeth Babcock and husband Abram of Broken Bow, Nebraska; 12 grandchildren; and brother Gary (Doris) Comes of Atlantic.
To celebrate Jim’s life, relatives and friends are welcome to stop and visit between the hours of 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, May 28th at Bluebird Hill.
