(Carroll) Atlantic defeated Kuemper by a narrow margin, winning 146–150 in a boy’s golf dual held Monday at Carroll Municipal Golf Course.
Atlantic’s Sam Brosam earned medalist honors with a round of 35, while teammate Brady Wood matched that score to take runner-up. Gage Gross followed closely with a 36 for fourth place. Hudson McLaren carded a 40 to finish ninth. Braxton Hass shot a 47, and Jack Muller rounded out the Trojans’ lineup with a 51, placing 11th and 12th.
Kuemper was led by Benton Loeffelholz, who placed third with a 36. Jack Lenz finished fifth with a 37, followed by Braxton Vonnahme in sixth, also with a 37. Garret Babe shot a 40 for seventh, Theodore Perkins added another 40 to place eighth, and Collin Venteicher recorded a 44 to finish 10th.
