(Des Moines) The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a single-vehicle fatality accident this morning.
Authorities say the crash happened near 100th Street and Northeast University Avenue in the eastbound lanes of traffic.
Emergency crews shut down part of the eastbound lanes of University Avenue, and motorists are advised to avoid this area and seek an alternative route.
