(Area) A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 1:00 p.m. today for Audubon, Guthrie, Cass, Adair, Adams, Union, Harrison, Shelby, Pottawattamie, Mills, and Montgomery counties
The National Weather Service says wet snow developed overnight, with total accumulations ranging from 2 to 4 inches. Some localized areas could see as much as 6 inches.
Officials warn that roads are mostly covered with snow and ice this morning. Drivers are urged to slow down and use caution while traveling.
