(Guthrie Center, IA) — The Guthrie County Supervisors heard the quarterly report from the Veteran Affairs Administrator, Beth Watson. Watson talked about the recent bipartisan bill in the Iowa state legislature and says she is all for it
Watson says she is working to make sure her and the department will comply with everything in the new legislation
The Supervisors approved her quarterly report.
In addition, the Supervisors approved two resolutions from County Engineer Josh Seburn — Resolution 26-28 is the posting of bridge load limitations and Resolution 26-29 is the posting of noxious weed list.
The Supervisors also renewed the county wide health care insurance for FY2027 and approved the notice of public hearing for FY 2026-2027 Guthrie County budget.
