
(Lenox, IA) — U.S. Senate Candidate Ashley Hinson was in Adams County on Wednesday as part of her 99 County Tour. Hinson — a Republican Congresswoman from District One — stopped at the Gaesser Farm between Corning and Lenox and talked with area farmers about relief for small and middle size farm operations, about regulation in the beef industry, about farming relations with China, and foreign interference in the U.S. farming industry. Hinson is grateful for the opportunity to listen and solve problems
Adams County is the smallest county in Iowa but Hinson says that does not stop her from visiting it and all 99
Meanwhile, Republican leadership in the House and Senate have announced they have a way to fund the Department of Homeland Security so Hinson could have to return to Washington D.C. next week for a vote which she welcomes
Current Senator Joni Ernst and Iowa Secretary of Ag Mike Naig were also present at the event.
Hinson will continue her 99 tour today with stops in Hamilton, Wright and Humboldt Counties after attending the Legislative Prayer Breakfast this morning in Des Moines.
