(Griswold) The Griswold School Board continues to move forward, gathering information on the possibility of implementing the four-day school week.
In August 2023, after months of discussion and surveys on the proposed 4-day school week, the Griswold School Board decided not to pursue the change for the 2024-2025 school year.
Schools Superintendent Dave Henrichs says a committee of three school board members, along with the board secretary, met recently and put together a survey that will be administered to staff members in the very near future. He says the survey results will be reviewed at the board’s April meeting.
Henrichs says the survey should reach staff members by the first part of April. Either way, Henrichs says that if the district decides to move forward with the four-day school week, the Griswold School District would not implement the change for the 2026-2027 school year.
