(Des Moines) The State Archery Tournament will take place at the Iowa State Fairgrounds next weekend (March 27-29).
John Lorenzen, with the DNR office in Lewis, said there will be 75 targets set up for bullseye, which will allow 150 participants to shoot at a time. There will be 48 targets set up for 3D, which will allow 96 participants to shoot at a time.
Lorenzen said Archers participating in the Iowa Archery in the Schools Program can earn money for college
Admission to the State Archery Tournament is $10 for 19 and older; 18 and younger are free.
