(Adair Co.) The Adair County Primary Election will be on Tuesday, June 2, 2026. Beginning Tuesday, March 24, 2026, you may request an absentee ballot be mailed to you for the 2026 Primary Election to be held June 2, 2026. Absentee ballots will be made available (in-office or by mail) no sooner than Wednesday, May 13, 2026.
Wednesday March 25th is the deadline for candidates to withdraw candidacy paperwork. Friday March 27th is
the deadline to object to a candidate’s filing paperwork. The last time to petition for a satellite voting location
for this election is April 16th at 5:00 pm, in the Adair County Auditor’s office. The first day to vote in-person
absentee at the auditor’s office is May 13th . This is also the first day our office is allowed to mail ballots to
requested absentee by mail voters. The last day to request a ballot to be mailed for absentee voting is May
18th, these requests must be received before 5:00 pm in the Auditor’s office (postmark dates do not apply).
Saturday May 30th the Auditor office will be open from 7 am – 3 pm for in person absentee voting and other
office business. Monday, June 1st is the last day to vote in person absentee at the Adair County Auditor’s
