(Washinton, D.C.) During floor remarks on Wednesday, Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley celebrated Women’s History Month.
Grassley said March is Women’s History month, an opportunity to celebrate women who have shaped the nation’s history. Grassley is encouraging Americans to share stories about women who’ve made an impact on their lives and how those same women have paved the way for future generations to pursue their dreams and contribute to American society.
Grassley said even though his mom never bragged about her milestone in U.S. history, she sparked his interest in politics with conversation around the kitchen table.
