(Ames, IA) — Treynor’s boys track and field team won the Class 2A IATC Indoor Championships at Iowa St. University on Friday. The Cardinals finished with 53 points with Spirit Lake in 2nd place with 46. Red Oak was 12th with 18 points; Tri Center 16th with 15; Underwood tied for 19th with 11; and Nodaway Valley brought up the rear in 36th place with 1 point.
Mid Prairie won the girls team title with 75 points well ahead of Spirit Lake in 2nd place with 51. Treynor was third with 49.5. Underwood 8th with 21. Tri Center 29th with 5 points.
