Stuart Road to Close for 3-5 Months for Bridge Replacement Project

(Stuart) The Adair County Engineer’s Office says the bridge one mile south of Stuart on Stuart Road is scheduled to be replaced with a box culvert. The project is expected to start March 16th, 2026.

During construction, Stuart Road will be closed to through traffic from 130th Street to 110th Street. A signed detour route will be in place. The closure is expected to last three to five months.
