Bonnie attended school at Woodbine, graduating with the class of 1959. After graduating, she worked as a secretary and office manager, which prepared her for working at Criswell Pharmacy when she and Larry purchased it. On September 11, 1960, she was united in marriage to Larry Eugene Argotsinger. They lived in Lincoln, NE, and Superior, NE, before moving to Oakland, IA. They later moved to Monroe, MO, for a short time before returning to Oakland. Bonnie also worked at Oakland High School with the Guidance Counselors in later years.
Bonnie was an avid reader and enjoyed crafts, puzzles, and sewing. She had a green thumb, always having plants and flowers around the house, and enjoyed canning from her vegetable gardens. Bonnie took a painting class and discovered yet another talent.
When her children were young, she was involved in their classrooms, often going on field trips and baking cookies for parties. Bonnie was a dedicated member of the RLDS church, teaching Bible School and serving as a counselor and cook for many church camps.
Bonnie enjoyed golfing, fishing, and traveling with family and friends. She loved entertaining, and her warm, fun personality invited many into her home. Antiquing was another of her passions.
