(Warren County) The missing Ringgold County woman has been found.
According to the Sheriff’s Department’s Facebook Page. The missing woman was found on Friday in rural Ringgold County. 78-year-old Cheryl Anderson was being evaluated and treated by medical personnel.
The Sheriff’s Office thanks everyone involved in helping to locate her.
The Ringgold County Sheriff’s Office spent all day Thursday searching for Cheryl, who is suffering from Alzheimer’s disease.
Ringgold County Sheriff Rob Haley says between 50 and 75 people participated in the search, along with ATVs, drones, K9s, and an Iowa State Patrol plane. 78-year-old Cheryl Anderson was last seen driving away from her Cumming home in a Toyota Sienna on Tuesday afternoon. Sheriff Haley says the empty minivan was found by a farmer who called the Sheriff’s Office after recognizing the vehicle on the evening news.
