(Cass Co.) The following candidates have for elected offices in Cass County for the June 2, 2026 Primary Election.

Mary Ward (Incumbent) filed on Wednesday for County Recorder. Vanessa Strazdas (Incumbent) filed on Monday for County Attorney. Mark T. O’Brien (Incumbent) filed Tuesday for County Supervisor District 2.

Primary Candidate Filing Dates:
• Federal and State Offices: February 23 – March 13, 2026 (5:00 p.m.). File with the Iowa Secretary of State’s office.
• Partisan County Offices: March 2 – March 20, 2026 (5:00 p.m.). File with the County Auditor’s office.
