Charlotte Acker, 69, of Des Moines, Iowa, (formerly of Greenfield) passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at the Atlantic Specialty Care in Atlantic.
Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at the Greenfield United Methodist Church. Everyone can wear jeans to the service as Charlotte would have wanted you to. The service will be livestreamed on YouTube.com/GreenfieldIowaUMC. A luncheon will immediately follow the service at the church. Private family burial will be in the South Oak Cemetery in Stuart at a later date. Pastor Melinda Stonebraker will officiate the service. The Lamb Funeral Home in Greenfield is in charge of the professional arrangements. Online condolences may be left to the family at www.lambfuneralhomes.com.
Family Visitation: The family will greet friends on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Lamb Funeral Home in Greenfield.
Memorials may be directed to the Charlotte Acker Memorial Fund to be established by the family at a later date.
She is survived by her daughter, Billie Ernst of Adair; son, Daniel Christensen; seven grandchildren, Dody Simkinns, Cassie Simkinns, Christian Steffen, Keilah Stephenson, Brad Patterson (friend Jhanelle), Mariah Ernst and Cadence Christensen; five great grandchildren, Noelle, Jack, Adonis, Autumn and Azaiah; brother, Terry Morgan (Deanne) of Des Moines; sister, Donna Coe of Stuart; and many other relatives and friends.
