(Montgomery Co) An Atlantic man was transported to the hospital following a single-vehicle accident in Montgomery County Thursday morning.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office says Charles Michael Noty was driving a 2024 Chevrolet Equinox southbound on Highway 71 when he suffered a medical emergency. The SUV left the traveled portion of the highway and entered the east ditch, where it continued to travel in the ditch, striking a drainage culvert before coming to a complete stop.
Noty was transported by Villisca Rescue to Montgomery County Memorial Hospital.
