(Creston) The Creston Police Department reports five arrests and a citizen’s report of a stolen vehicle.
On Friday:
*Police arrested 19-year-old Anaya Maree Michelle Gourley of Ames and 21-year-old Makayla Lynn Ira of Des Moines for possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, 1st offense. Authorities cited and released them on a promise to appear.
On Saturday:
*Creston Police arrested 26-year-old Noah Alexander Young, homeless, at the intersection of Sycamore and Montgomery on a charge of 3rd -degree burglary-Non vehicle. Officers transported Young to the Union County Jail and held him without bond pending an appearance before a magistrate judge.
On Sunday:
*Creston Police arrested 37-year-old Shanina Laitaija Raeche Allison of Creston on a charge of driving with a suspended license. Police cited and released her on a promise to appear.
*Police arrested 24-year-old Marina Lissette Basaldua, of Lenox, for driving with a suspended license and OWI 1st offense. Authorities transported Basaldua to the Union County Jail, where she posted a $1000 cash or surety bond.
In another activity, Tinneal Fay Harris reported to the police that her 2018 Ford Explorer was stolen from her residence sometime between Friday night and Saturday Morning. The estimated loss is $8,000.
