(Des Moines) The National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory for the southwest and portions of southern Iowa until 9:00 a.m. today.
The fog has reduced visibility to one-quarter mile or less this morning, making travel hazardous.
Motorists should slow down, use their headlights, and leave plenty of space between vehicles.
The counties in west central and southwest Iowa under the dense fog advisory include Crawford, Shelby, Audubon, Pottawattamie, Cass, Adair, Mills, Montgomery, Adams, Fremont, Page, Union, and Taylor.
