(Audubon, IA) — The Audubon boys basketball team will finish its regular season tonight, hosting IKM Manning, coverage on KS 95.7 FM.
The Wheelers and Wolves are tied for 4th place in the highly competitive Western Iowa Conference. Audubon is 13-8 overall and has won 4 in a row and 6 of their last 7. Head Coach Darran Miller says they have played great all around basketball but have limited their opponents 2nd chance opportunities
Audubon has four guys who average in double figures — Senior Austin Christensen (11.7 ppg and 9.4 rbg), Senior Brody Schultes (10.6 ppg), Sophomore Jorgen Nowatzke (10.4 ppg) and Sophomore Aiden Kjergaard (10.2 ppg) plus Carson Wessel averages 9.2 ppg. Miller would like to see more outside shots go in — the Wheelers only shoot 27 percent from beyond the arc
IKM Manning is 12-8 and led by Senior Ben Ramsey who leads the WIC in scoring at 20.3 points per game. Ramsey had 25 against Audubon in the first game but the Wheelers won 67-52. Miller says they shut down the rest of the Wolves
NASCAR will be on KSOM tonight so we will broadcast the game on KS 95.7 FM and video stream on You Tube, Pre – Game at 7:15, Tip off 7:30.
