Union County Man Arrested for Assault

(Creston) Creston Police arrested one person for assault and another for failure to appear.

Police arrested 21-year-old Lucas Lynn Smith of Creston at 119 N. Elm Street. Smith was charged with Domestic Abuse Assault 1st Degree. Authorities transported Smith to Union County Jail and held him on no bond until a Magistrate Judge could see him.

Creston Police arrested 50-year-old David Allen Jones of Creston at 119 N. Elm Street for failure to appear. Officers transported Jones to the Union County jail and held him on a $300.00 cash bond.
