Boys Wrestling Results: Timberwolves Sweep Quad

(Corning, IA) — Southwest Valley swept a quad with two conference rivals and Van Meter.  The Timberwolves beat Lenox 47-23, beat Mount Ayr 47-34 and topped the Bulldogs 45-24.  Gavin Wetzel went 3-0 with a fall, 4-1 decision and a forfeit; Lucas James went 3-0 a fall and 2 forfeits; Brody Crozier went 3-0 with a fall and 2 forfeits; Wyatt Shires went 3-0 with 2 falls and a forfeit; and Degan Farwell went 3-0 with a fall and 2 forfeits.

Mount Ayr went 2-1 with a 36-24 win over Lenox and a 42-24 victory over Van Meter.

Van Meter and Lenox tied 30-30 but the Bulldogs won the tiebreaker, 6-5 on forfeits.
