(Lake View, IA) — Audubon went 2-1 in a boys wrestling quad hosted by East Sac County. The Wheelers beat East Sac 55-12 and Pocahontas Area 51-24 but lost to Coon Rapids Bayard 42-39.
Leyton Elmquist went 3-0 with a 13-6 decision and two forfeits; Karson Juelsgaard went 3-0 with a tech fall and 2 forfeits; Jon Rasmussen went 3-0 with 2 falls and a forfeit; Ethan Haubrich went 3-0 with a fall and 2 forfeits; Karter Obermeier went 3-0 with 2 falls and a forfeit; and Lane Meyer went 3-0 with 2 falls and a 4-1 decision.
CRB went 3-0 to win the quad — the Crusaders beat East Sac County 53-20 and Pocahontas Area 53-23. Ezra Cortez went 3-0 with a fall, tech fall and a forfeit; Caleb Hoffman went 3-0 with 2 falls and a tech fall; Johny Cortez went 3-0 with 3 falls; Ethan Bauer went 3-0 with a fall and 2 forfeits; and Eli McAlister went 3-0 with 2 falls and a forfeit.
Pocahontas Area beat East Sac County 48-31.
