(Guthrie Co.) A Casey man suffered injuries in a rollover accident on January 27th.
The Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office says 20-year-old Denon Doherty was driving a 2005 Isuzu Ascender eastbound in the 3100th block of White Pole Road , immediately west of the Stuart city limits, at around 2:10 p.m. For unknown reasons, the vehicle left the roadway into the south ditch and ramped the Iowa Interstate Railroad tracks, went airborne, landed, and rolled an unknown amount of times. The SUV came to rest on its passenger side facing north.
Doherty suffered suspected serious injuries and was transported by Adair County EMS to Mercy Main Hospital in Des Moines.
