2A Regional Girls Wrestling Results: Glenwood

(Glenwood, IA) — Glenwood hosted a 2A Girls Wrestling Regional tournament on Friday night.  Here are some of the team by team state qualifiers:

Creston — Grace Keeler was the Regional Champ at 135 and Alainah Galanakis was 2nd at 130 pounds to also qualify for state.

Glenwood — Audrina Johansen was the Regional Champ at 120 pounds and was the only state qualifier for the Rams.

Lewis Central — The Titans had three state qualifiers:  Avaeh Smith was the 130 regional champ; Lindsay Trotter 2nd at 140; and Madison Wright 2nd at 190.

CBAL — Two Lynx wrestlers qualified for state:  Ellie Johnson 2nd at 100 and Lilian Miller 2nd at 235

CBTJ — Kaylea Hintze of the Yellow Jackets made it to state at 115 pounds, finishing in 2nd place

Nobody from Winterset qualified for state

Ankeny won the regional title with 249 points ahead of DCG in 2nd with 166.
