(Lincoln, NE) — Nebraska pulled away early and kept their big lead beating Northwestern 89-73 in a Big Ten women’s basketball game on Wednesday night.
Up 15-13, the Huskers went on a 13-4 run to end the first quarter and led 47-36 at the end of the first half. Nebraska kept their lead in double figures the entire 2nd half and led by as many as 20.
Britt Prince led Nebraska (16-5, 5-5) with 28 points on 10-15 shooting and added 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Logan Nissley had 14 points, Amiah Hargrove had a double double with 13 points and 11 rebounds and Callin Hake added 13 points.
Northwestern (8-13, 2-8) was led by Tayla Thomas with 19 points.
