(Mount Ayr, IA) — Southwest Valley went 3-0 in a girls wrestling quad on Tuesday night. The Timberwolves beat Shenandoah 36-12, beat West Central Valley 30-21 and beat Mount Ayr 33-18.
The highlight match of the night was Elizabeth Handy of WCV beating Deklyn Mullen of Southwest Valley 12-9 at 120 pounds.
For Southwest Valley, Destiny Easley went 3-0 with a 15-8 decision and 2 forfeits. Josslynn Benge went 3-0 with a fall and 2 forfeits.
Shenandoah went 0-3 falling to West Central Valley 18-12 and Mount Ayr 18-12. The Raiders and Wildcats tied 18-18 with Mount Ayr winning the tiebreaker on forfeits.
